Aurora University

School of Social Work

The Doctor of Social Work program offers a clinical doctorate designed for those who want to teach in higher education and practice using in-depth clinical theory. Given the broad perspective of social work, the DSW program ensures the interrelated understanding of the micro, mezzo, and macro systems. Students are prepared to produce and disseminate contemporary peer-reviewed research by completing a dissertation. Graduates serve as advanced clinicians, excellent educators, and strong leaders in the field of social work.
