Barry University

Ellen Whiteside McDonnell School of Social Work

The DSW Program is designed to provide MSW practitioners with a practice focused degree that elevates their capacity for leadership roles within the profession. The DSW Program provides students with expertise knowledge and skill in trauma informed and trauma responsive social work practice, service delivery, and administrative leadership. Students are also prepared to become producers and disseminators of practice based knowledge for both the professional practice community through peer-reviewed venues (i.e. conference presentations, publications, etc.) and schools of social work.
