On behalf of the GADE Board of Directors Awards Committee, we strongly encourage you to submit a nomination for the 2023 Donna Harrington Faculty Award for Excellence in Mentoring of Doctoral Students. The award will be presented at the 2023 Society for Social Work Research (SSWR) Annual Conference in January. 

On behalf of the GADE Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2023 GADE Initiative for Cross-Institutional Student Collaboration. Applications are due on November 1, 2022. 

On behalf of the GADE Board of Directors Awards Committee, I am excited to announce that nominations are now open for the two 2023 GADE Awards that will be presented at the 2023 Society for Social Work Research (SSWR) Annual Conference in January. Award nominations are due by October 16, 2022. 

The GADE Board of Directors is pleased to announce our partnership with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) to launch the inaugural Social Work Doctoral Student Policy Fellowship.

The Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education (GADE) announced three new members to the Board of Directors at the Annual Business Meeting during the GADE Annual Conference. New members will each help support the nonprofit’s work to promote excellence in doctoral education in social work.

On behalf of the Group for the Advancement for Doctoral Education in Social Work (GADE), we invite nominations for three (3) open positions on the Board of Directors. All Board Members shall serve a 3-year term, and they may be re-elected for one consecutive term.
