On behalf of the Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education in Social Work Board of Directors, we invite you to register for the 2023 GADE Annual Conference for social work doctoral program directors hosted by The University of Texas at Arlington School of Social Work on March 29-31, 2023 in Arlington, Texas.
Our theme this year is Doctoral Education in Divisive Times: Learning from the Past to Educate for the Future. We hope that the conference will serve as a forum for purposeful dialogue on how we can draw on lessons from our shared history to prepare social work doctoral students to be instrumental in achieving a more civil, equitable, and just society. The annual conference also serves as a vital resource for doctoral program directors for networking, resource sharing, and for professional development.
Conference registration is now open! Early-bird registration is $450 per person and includes all meals. After February 15, 2023, registration will increase to $500. Conference attendance is limited to social work program directors/chairs of GADE institutional members who are current in their membership dues.
We hope you are able to join us for our first in-person conference within the last four years. Additional information will be shared at gadesocialwork.org/conference
