Postdoctoral Associate
The Department of Community Health and Health Behavior at the University at Buffalo School of Public Health and Health Professions is hiring a postdoctoral associate. The candidate will perform mixed-methods research and related tasks under the direction of Dr. Akua O. Gyamerah in the areas of HIV, mental health, LGBTQ+, and racial health equity internationally and in the U.S. The ideal candidate must have experience in one or more of these research areas and should have training in qualitative research methods. Additional experience in quantitative research methods is preferred.
Responsibilities may include:
- Organizing and implementing research activities Supporting with grant writing and IRB protocol development
- Conducting literature reviews for grants and manuscripts
- Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining research database
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Analyzing, evaluating, and presenting research findings in professional journals and at professional conferences and meetings
- Helping supervise undergraduate and graduate members of research lab
