Assistant Instructor/Assistant Professor of Instruction
Position Description:
The University of South Florida, School of Social Work invites applications for 1 Assistant Professor of Instruction and/or Assistant Instructor (non-tenure track) for the Tampa campus. The position is set to begin December 20, 2024. The position is dedicated to providing instruction in the BSW and MSW programs and contributing to the service needs in the School. Preference will be given to applicants who have the ability to teach across the curriculum and also have a strong clinical background. Term of appointment shall be 12 months continual appointment subject to annual evaluations. Salary is commensurate with experience. Position is open until filled with first review of applications October 2, 2024.

Requirements |
Minimum Qualifications:
•MSW from a CSWE accredited School of Social Work
•Two years of full-time or the equivalent of part-time post-graduate social work practice experience
•Teaching and/or training experience in social work education
Preferred Qualifications:
•Administrative experience in social work education and/or leadership in a human service agency
•Experience in creating and developing community partnerships•Evaluation experience consistent with CSWE accreditation standards•Online or classroom teaching experience in social work education
•Supervisory experience with students or staff
•State licensure in any state
•Ph.D. in Social Work or related area or DSW
