Assistant/Associate Professor of Social Work
The Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma, Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences seeks a passionate and innovative social work scholar to join our dynamic faculty team beginning August 2025.
We invite applications for a 9-month tenure track / tenured position available at the rank of assistant or associate professor. This will be based on the Norman campus.
The School is in the midst of a strategic expansion and is growing its tenure track ranks to support multiple programs. We value candidates with collaborative experience and ambitious research goals. Position responsibilities include developing and maintaining an active, fundable, research agenda that fits all qualifications related to success on the tenure track and who can teach across undergraduate and graduate programs. A 2:2 teaching load is expected. In the case of a tenured position, qualified applicants would need to demonstrate a significant history of funding and service contributions to the unit, in addition to evidence of a history of teaching excellence.
The University of Oklahoma is home to the largest social work program in Oklahoma. The Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work offers fully accredited Bachelor and Master Social Work Programs to over 800 students annually across multiple programs: Norman, Tulsa, and Online. In 2025 the School plans to launch its official PhD program, admitting its inaugural class.
