Members Listserv

The Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education in Social Work has a members listserv, offered as a membership benefit, for use by PhD and DSW program directors to distribute relevant information to the membership community. Each member institution is allotted two (2) delegates to be added to the general membership listserv.

To distribute a message send your email directly to members@gadesocialwork.org

If you wish to respond to a message sent by a member, please be mindful of the "reply-to" address in order to not reply to the entire mailing list. Respond directly to the poster if your response is not germane to the GADE membership.

Germane posts include the crowdsourcing of resources, professional development opportunities, graduate announcements, and more. Program directors are expected to distributed messages relevant to students or faculty through their institution’s communication channels. We appreciate members helping get the word out about these opportunities as relevant.

Appropriate Posts
  • Crowdsourcing resources and tools for social work programs
  • Grant and funding opportunities
  • Journal calls
  • Professional development and webinar opportunities

Unallowed Posts
  • Job and postdoc opportunities should be submitted via the GADE Job Board
  • Political announcements or fundraising requests
  • Derogatory language, hate speech, etc.

Additionally, GADE has a DSW Caucus listserv for use by DSW program directors at member institutions. Each institutional member with a DSW program is allotted one (1) delegate to be added to the DSW Caucus listserv.
