Program Reviewer Directories

The Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education in Social Work (GADE) Program Reviewer Directories connect programs with experienced peers who can provide external reviews of doctoral programs in social work. These directories are designed to strengthen quality, support accreditation processes, and promote shared learning across institutions.

About the Directories

GADE maintains two separate directories:
  • PhD Program Reviewer Directory
  • DSW Program Reviewer Directory
Each directory features qualified individuals with expertise in doctoral education, academic administration, curriculum development, and program evaluation. Reviewers include current and former program directors, faculty, and higher education professionals who bring valuable insight into the design and delivery of doctoral programs.

Access for Members

GADE members have exclusive access to view both directories through the Member Engagement Portal. Member access allows program directors and administrators to identify and contact potential reviewers based on their experience and areas of expertise.

Join the Directory

  • Individuals interested in serving as reviewers are invited to join one or both directories.
  • Membership in GADE is not required to be listed.
  • Reviewers should have relevant experience in doctoral education or social work program administration.
To participate, complete the Reviewer Directory Interest Form in the Member Engagement Portal and indicate which directory (PhD, DSW, or both) best fits your background.

Why Participate

Serving as a program reviewer supports excellence in social work doctoral education by:
  • Fostering peer collaboration and professional exchange
  • Strengthening program quality and innovation
  • Contributing to the collective advancement of the field
