Student Awards

The Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education in Social Work (GADE) Awards Program honors excellence in doctoral education by recognizing the achievements of both students and faculty. For students, the program includes three awards and a dissertation/capstone grant that highlight contributions in research, teaching, and service. For faculty, three awards recognize outstanding educational leadership, mentoring, and overall impact on doctoral education in social work. Together, these awards embody GADE’s mission to advance excellence in doctoral education, support professional development, and bring visibility to the individuals whose scholarship, service, and leadership are shaping the future of the field.honors excellence in doctoral education by recognizing the achievements of both students and faculty.
