The purpose of the Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education in Social Work (GADE) Awards Program is to support the professional development of doctoral students and bring visibility to their research and service. These awards speak to our mission to advance excellence in social work doctoral education.

Nomination/Application Deadlines

• Applications/Nominations for awards announced at the SSWR Annual Conference during the GADE Reception will open on September 15 and close on October 31 at 11:59pm Eastern annually.
• Applications/Nominations for awards announced at the CSWE Annual Program Meeting during the GADE/CSWE Doctoral Student Networking Breakfast will open on March 15 and close on May 1 at 11:59pm Eastern annually.
